Screwing the Other Guy
For those who've follow the Devil's Advocate on CNN-IBN, this paticular episode would be thoroughly enjoyable..the articulate Mani Shankar Iyer takes the devils's seat grilling the "Obnoxious" Karan Thapar as described by the interviewer..
While I've embedded only the first video, 3 other clippings complete the interview. See each one of them if you are one of those who'd enjoy Karan Thapar getting royally screwd..there are moments wher the interviewer and the interviewee swap roles (due to the familiarity), but on the whole the former Sprots minister does a commendable job in ridiculing Karan Thapar..

That really was a great interview! Mr.Aiyar no doubt has done a fantastic job, but to me Karan Thapar stands out as the Sport!
ReplyDeleteAgreed he grills his guests at his shows and is down right obnoxious at times but I love his persistence, without which the guests would get away with their well rehearsed answers.
Nice to c him game to be grilled, but AR Rahman....Ouchh!!
Current affairs, food and drink, entertainment, gadgetry, and deep thoughts... super blog! but the pressing question... where are the motorcycles?!

ReplyDeleteU mustve surprised Karan Thapar himself with your admiration..Rahman has always been an interviewer's nightmare and Thapar did a gud job trying to imitate him..
